Meet Andrew 'Jack' Mullins, the Account Manager for Turf/Plant Healthcare at Tim Johnson Landscaping (TJL).
A proud native of Statesville, NC, I currently call Mocksville home. Recently married, my wife and I are eagerly embracing the new chapters unfolding in our lives. Beyond work, we share a commitment to teaching a lively 4-year-old Sunday school class and actively participate in the First Baptist Church in Statesville.
Coaching and watching football rank high among my hobbies, and I find joy in exploring new destinations with my wife, eagerly anticipating the adventures that lie ahead. When not with family or involved in home improvements, we venture into the Appalachian Mountains in the quest for Sasquatch, also known as Bigfoot. So far, no results, but we'll keep everyone updated on any developments.
Family is a significant passion for me, maintaining close relationships with my mother and two older sisters. My wife shares a similar bond with her parents and siblings, resulting in a combined extended family of 16 nieces and nephews, ensuring lively moments at family gatherings.
I lead the turf care team, ensuring daily tasks and expectations are communicated to the fertilizer techs. We prioritize providing them with all necessary materials and equipment for a safe, efficient, and productive day.
What I love most about working here is the opportunity to work outdoors, where no two days are exactly alike. The camaraderie with a great group of people makes working for TJL both enjoyable and meaningful.
The best advice I've received is to understand that worrying is a sin. A fun fact about me is that I go by Jack, but my real name is Andrew.
Additionally, I hold certifications as a 3M certified Master Vehicle Wrap Installer and a Certified NC Pesticide Applicator.
