Chad Redmond, Construction Manager

Meet N. Chad Redmond, the Construction Manager at Tim Johnson Landscaping (TJL). A true North Carolinian, I was born in Statesville to a family deeply rooted in gardening, fostering my lifelong passion for the natural world.

Currently residing on a small farm with my wife, Terri, we engage in food cultivation and raising various farm animals. Our interests extend to the art of food preservation and wild crafting, all inspired by the bountiful land surrounding us. When not tending to the garden, you'll find me with a guitar, playing music with family or friends.

With almost 30 years in the green industry, my journey has taken me from a high school summer job to working for one of the largest greenhouses in the country. Specializing in landscape construction throughout my career, I've cultivated a deep appreciation for sharing my knowledge with both colleagues and customers.

Beyond being an occupation, the landscaping industry is a part of who I am.

Gardening and playing music are not just hobbies but enduring passions that fuel my desire to learn, teach, and share every day. A typical day involves planning upcoming projects, coaching our teams, and visiting sites alongside our dedicated crews and clients.

What stands out for me at TJL is the family atmosphere.

The best advice I've received is that my attitude determines how my day will be. And, as a fun fact, I love to cook.
