Meet Joyce Johnson. Joyce works in Accounts Payable and has been with us here at Tim Johnson Landscaping (TJL) for over 24 years. Originally from the North, I found my way to North Carolina, where I discovered love and settled down.

My career path took a unique turn, transitioning from being an elementary school teacher to a landscaper. In the early days of Tim Johnson Landscaping, I would leave school to join the fieldwork, performing various tasks like trimming bushes, planting flowers, using the weed eater, and more. I even handled payroll until the company grew too large for manual processing. While I returned to teaching for a while, my summer job was at Tim Johnson Landscaping, working in the office. Upon retiring from teaching, I joined the TJL office full-time, where I spend my days.

My family holds a special place in my heart, and I have a deep affection for them. Outside of work, I enjoy gardening when time allows, reading, and indulging in cruises. A typical day at the office involves handling a variety of tasks, from printing and entering invoices to managing disbursements and handling financial responsibilities like bill payments, taxes, and insurance.

What I appreciate most about working here is the connection with the owners.
